Felicity has co-signed an open letter calling for urgent Government action on IPP and DPP sentences. It was sent to the Ministry of Justice, the Secretary of State for Justice and the Parole Board. The letter follows the UN findings responding to Felicity’s report and the Court of Appeal’s judgment in Haycock v R. It sets out what the signatories say should happen in the meantime.
