Felicity has been instructed to advise on an EncroChat-related matter. The European Court of Human Rights has just started looking at evidence taken from decrypted cryptophone networks and what it means for fair trials. The court has communicated two significant cases on this: Silgir (No 2) v Germany, which concerns EncroChat, and Raal and Reudolph v Estonia, which concerns ANOM. ANOM was the platform at the centre of the FBI’s Operation Trojan Shield and is also an issue in Australia, where Felicity is admitted.
