On 30 March 2015 the Centre for Conflict, Rights and Justice and the Centre for Advocacy at Nottingham Law School, Nottingham Trent University will host a seminar exploring the legal and human rights implications of legal restrictions imposed on the wearing of Islamic face veil. The event will bring together some leading commentators on the issue from across academia, legal practice and the media.
In the wake of the appalling events in Paris in January 2015 it is more important than ever that such difficult issues are openly discussed and debated.
The event is free to attend, but it is necessary to register beforehand. Tea and coffee, and a light lunch will be provided.
All are welcome.
