Felicity, Jeswynn Yogaratnam, Ros Vickers and Ken Parish will deliver the contemporary issues social justice legal clinic unit commencing at Charles Darwin University School of Law from February 2015. Contemporary Issues 1 – Legal Clinic (Social Justice) is designed to deliver both substantive law and skills based learning in practical settings with a focus on social justice as a pressing contemporary issue in the context of the following streams
(i) Environmental Law and Human Rights (with the EDO in Darwin)
(ii) Migration Law and Human Rights (with Ward Keller in Darwin)
(iii) Indigenous Justice Issues and Human Rights (with NAAJA in Darwin)
(iv) Child and Adult abuse with a focus on the Retta Dixon civil litigation (with Bill Piper in Darwin)
(v) Research and litigation issues in relation to Assisted Dying (in the Arafura Archive at CDU)
