In 2024 she drafted an application to the UN Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities on behalf of Alex Henry – a young man with ASD who was convicted, under joint enterprise law, of murder.
Her Parliamentary submissions in both the UK and Australia have led to changes in the law on modern slavery, FGM, reproductive rights and sentencing of vulnerable offenders. Felicity is also at the forefront of the campaign for a posthumous pardon for Christine Keeler, tied to one of Britain’s most infamous political scandals, The Profumo Affair. In 2018 she drafted a petition for mercy which helped secure a reduction in sentence and release of Indigenous man Zak Grieve, who was imprisoned for life under mandatory sentencing laws in the Northern Territory.
