In R v Byrom heard on the 27th of September 2012, Felicity Gerry successfully appealed an unlawful sentence imposed on the Appellant in 2004 where the combination of imprisonment and an extended period of licence went beyond the maximum for the offence.
Felicity had not represented the Appellant in the lower court and leave to appeal was granted out of time.
