Art Not Evidence, a campaign supported by Felicity, to limit admissibility of artistic and creative output as evidence in criminal proceedings, has published the draft text of their Criminal Evidence (Creative and Artistic Expression) Bill.
The campaign seeks to restrict the use of rap lyrics in trials in UK courts due to its perpetuation of racist stereotypes, racial discrimination in the criminal justice system and the risk of miscarriage of justice.
