Felicity Gerry successfully appeals the terms of a sexual offences prevention order to remove a requirement that the appellant seek permission from a local authority to see his natural child and to reduce the period of the order from indefinite to 10 years

In R v Linney, heard in the Court of Appeal Criminal Division on the 24th of July judgement was given by Lord Justice Hooper that each term of such an order has to be separately considered to be necessary. The court allowed the appeal varying the original order. Felicity regularly gives advice and representation to clients who have been affected by post conviction orders and in relation to similar civil applications.
