Defence counsel for Mr Al Hassan (Melanie Taylor, Alka Pradhan and Felicity) submitted an urgent request for information about the judgment in his case, which was delayed from the original date of January 18 due to judge illness.
Translation: Contacted by RFI, the Congolese judge affirmed that, since October, his state of health had not allowed him to work on the judgment. He nevertheless indicated that he could soon resume, and deliver a judgment in June.
The Defence team still await confirmation of any rescheduled judgment.
